We were sitting in a restaurant with great air conditioning, even though I was dressed more for the warmth outside. This is what lead to the following conversation.
MayB: I'm cold!
The Guy: You're old?
MayB: I said, 'I'm cold'.
The Guy: I believe people can be more than one thing.
MayB: I'm going to beat you with a stick. [I should have known trouble was coming because he grinned.]
The Guy: I believe that's called a cane.
And that's when they called for the paramedics.
