Days of Grace: Day 185

  1. A well-paced walk around the lake - perfect temperature and a Big Gulp.
  2. Marley and Me. We watched it tonight for the first time. We laughed for 3/4 and I cried for the rest. Such a good movie.
  3. Freshly mowed lawn by someone who was not me. Thanks to The Guy!
  4. My new professional grade hair straightening iron. It's purty.
  5. New Moon trailer. Yes, I've watched it again. And again.

  1. For reals. That trailer is the only thing that keeps me going sometimes.

Also, anyone else notice that Laurent says "mouth-watering" and then Jacob shows up, like, 3 seconds later. I bet the editor of that trailer gave themself high fives for that. I would have.

  2. Too bad he's a zygote. On account of being super young. And stuff.

Why do all the good guys gotta be zygotes?

  3. Marley and Me was so funny, I think Marley changed dog suits about 5 times in the movie. Good movie, I cried like a baby.

  5. I can't believe how many people will admit to watching "Marley and Me" in a semi public forum.

  6. I saw it on the shelf today in Russian and forgot to check to see if it was in English too.

  7. I think Marley and Me is a brilliant movie - hits every laugh and pulls heartstrings masterfully. I didn't want to see it because I thought it would be lame, but I was pleasantly surprised. Typicalquirk and I decided that it's so good because it's based on a book, written by a professional journalist. If it were written by a Hollywood screenwriter alone, it would have been lame.

And yes, I sobbed my head off.
