There was an announcement one night that the Young Married Couples Association (yes, YMCA) would be meeting after church one afternoon. They were going to discuss some issues pertaining to that specific group, but invited all others to join.
As a joke, I went up to a few of them after church and advised them I had started my own group and we would be joining their discussions. The group would be known as PWS-MC. (pronouced Pwas Mac) Professional Women Stickin'it to Married Couples.
They had their meeting the next day. I forgot to go. I had a nap instead. Us professional women need our rest.
What? We're now the YMCA? (Actually: ha.)
ReplyDeleteWait: oh no! I organized them and gathered their e-mail addresses at New Year's and forgot to do anything about it! People shouldn't put me in charge of stuff, at least not when I'm preparing for exams like this.
