Tonight I was talking to Grandma on the phone. We had been there all weekend - by we, I mean myself, my Dad, both sisters and all three dogs. Add that to Grandma and her dog, as well as a boat load of people in the dorm rooms downstairs, it was a busy time. I think the quiet of the next day made Grandma lonely. When we were getting ready to hang up (it was the second try and only one of 4 attempts) she said "Surprisingly enough, I love the lot of you."
I'll bite. "Surprisingly, eh?"
"Oh yes", she replied, "but it's only because I'm wonderful, you know."
