Just a quick ride

Remember that time Dad thought his van was stolen? Yeah, me too. It wasn't long ago. Imagine how surprised I was when he called this afternoon to see if I had borrowed the van today without telling him. Nope, not me. I suggested he call the police to see if they had it. They did. They found it in the hood with the steering wheel column popped. It would be kinda funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Yay for Regina's rising crime rate! We like to stay competive.

  1. Ah, Regina's car thefts. The memories of Janice's car getting stolen from in front of our house on the morning of Easter Sunday. (Incidentally, that car actually worked better after insurance fixed it up.)

Is it still drivable, after getting the steering column fixed and probably the transmission checked out?

  2. The stupidest thing about all of this is that he probably hesitated to call the police this time because of the last incident, and this time someone actually stole the van!! I love that story...I was just thinking about it the other day.

  3. He totally did hesitate to call the police. I think the whole thing is too funny. It only happens to my Dad, I swear.

I'm not sure if the van will be fixed or what. SGI has it right now. I hope it will. Who knows what Dad will do if not!
