Physical reactions to emotions

Does anyone else get flaming hot when they are jealous? I was just thinking of all the times I have physical reactions to the emotions I am feeling. I guess I am noticing them a lot right now b/c I am having them all the freaking time, but it seems odd. I mean, I've spent a lot of time nauseated this last two weeks. And having waves of heat flame around me when I'm jealous or hurt. Its so bizarre to me to think that I can experience physical pain from a feeling that comes from my own brain. There are somethings I can't even hear without a physical reaction. Some people who are mentioned or come into a room and I become about 4 degrees hotter. Its bizaare. I guess my body just won't let me ignore the things I want to.

Its late. And I'm tired. And I have to be awake another 7 hours. Don't listen to me.

  1. You're an X-Man -Person or whatnot! I know what you're saying. I was 2 months away from marriage when I got dumped (this was a few years ago, I call it BE03, Botched Engagement 2003, notice the year, in case it happens again.) Anyway, I have seen this girl once since it happened (we drove by each other and she put her hand down as if to change the radio - riggght, nice try). But there have been other times when I THOUGHT that I saw her and my heart starts racing and my stomach drops. It's bad. I embarrass easy and can feel that, but otherwise, I think you have a superpower. Try to shoot lasers out of your eyes next time! (I am totally kidding. This is the only way I know to deal with human emotion. Anyway, if it's inappropiate, let me know.)

  2. No thats exactly it. And I tried to explain it to someone earlier. Like I am trying to redirect my anger to more than one thing b/c otherwise it is too powerful and I feel like I CAN shoot laser beams from my eyes. (I can't. I've tried)

  4. Does it count that I've always wanted to??? On my day of no consequences. That was my big plan. But, no. Alas, I don't think I could do it. Goes against my nature. Although, if I could do it with laser beams from my eyes... I might.

  5. Whenever I see this guy that I was completely in love with for 15 years I get all warm and turn bright red and the connection between my brain and my mouth shuts off so I just babble and say stupid things.
    Sigh. He's so wonderful.

  6. I have been so bad that when I see a bald man in the store, my stomach goes all woobly. But there are a few things that the mention of it (esp a few people's names from past and current issues) and I get absolutely ill. I don't like the feeling at all.

Roger: I am sorry to hear about BE03. It sucks greatly. I wasn't quite there, but close enough. I'm starting to think I am losing my mind at times. Two of the worst break ups in my life all within 14 months of each other. I may never date again.
