There are just some people who need someone to follow them all the time and say things like "No, don't do that... it's just stupid". And yet, this seems rarely to happen despite how often I feel it is necessary. Here are some examples:
1) People who use words as verbs although they clearly do not fall into that category. "She was disrespecting me, so I disrespected her right back." Um, what? Apparently Grade 6 held no appeal for these people. They can't even tell the difference between a verb and a noun (thanks Ky).
2) People who name their children double names like "Thomas Thompson" or "John Johnson" or "Peter Petersmyer". They need to be smacked. Use some creativity people. Come on!
3) People who name their children clever names which will cause their children to hate them forever. "Amanda Lynne Player" or "Ally Gator" or "Peter Piper"... I could go on.
4) People who name their children stupid names which will cause their children to hate them forever. Like "Moxie Crimefighter" or "Apple" or "Pirate" or some other incredibly stupid celebrity brainfart.
That is my rant. That is all.
