So, today is Blue Monday. By now, we've all realized that Christmas is over, the bills are still coming in, our New Year's resolutions have gone to crap, and it's really effing cold outside.
True, but how is it that I've lived 34 years and have never heard of this before? Did I miss 33 years of being depressed on the socially acceptable day of suckage? Or, was I depressed and didn't know it?
Really, I feel like I've missed something.
Today was a pretty decent day, really. I had a doctor's appointment and got some great referrals for things I needed to get referrals for. Then I had lunch with a friend and went for a tan. It was a good day.
I feel like I've done something wrong.
Well, no more. I'm going to go eat something bad for me, wear comfy pants, and pout in a corner.
Wikipedia says it's the 24th this year, so maybe you can celebrate it again next week?
