I can't leave without one picture up. We head for Vegas in a few hours. I haven't showered, packed, or gone to return the wedding rentals. This is going to go well.
Here is a great shot of The Guy, my grandma, and me. She is too teeny for words!!
As a surprise, I arranged for our wedding pics to be done on the football field where "our" favourite team plays. The Guy had no idea until we were just about there. It was an awesome surprise. I can now officially do something really stupid in the future and this will totally cancel it out. Woo!
P.S. Roger and Queen of West Procrastination had it right. Queen because she knew and Roger because he knows me. Well, except he doesn't really, but you know what I mean. It was really important to me not to live together without being married. So, we eloped! We called this the sham wedding. (I wanted a big wedding because my Dad was coming from Ukraine and I had the dress already.) My sister and her friends now call it the Sham-Wow wedding.
Congratulations! And I love the Riders touch.
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy for you guys- you both looked great!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you mentioned that your Grandma is really tiny- I was thinking that you both were giants or something.
Have fun in Vegas!
Well, they ARE also very tall. But her Grandma is the wee-est woman around.
ReplyDeleteI love the Riders elements in your wedding! Chris is still talking about the groom's cake and how jealous he is. I'll have to show him the picture on Taylor Field.
Enjoy your Vegas trip!
Awesome pics. And nice way to get around the living together without being married thing - I may have to steal that idea from you someday :)
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome surprise. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so cute. You look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS! CONGRATULATIONS!
ReplyDelete(that's one for each wedding!)
How very cool, B.
congratulations!! you should elope again while in vegas ... 3 weddings = 3x the gifts? ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget you had the freakin' awesome red shoes to wear too.
ReplyDeleteSuper awesome surprise picture. Did your new helmet protect you from the rain?
It's all a lie. May-B's grandma is 5'8"...the rest of the family is just freakishly tall (says the guy who's been shopping at Mr. Big & Tall since he was 12).
ReplyDeleteWoohooo!! Congrats! Y'all look gorgeous. Granny, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos (you look lovely) and YAY for Taylor Field shots! Congrats!
