Chances are the chances are not in our favour

The Guy and I are heading to the Crimson Elk to visit my brother, sister-in-law, sister and other friends along the way. We have made this trip a few times now and, I have to say, our record is poor. Each and every time The Guy and I start out on a trip of any significant length, the weather decides to go a little off her rocker.

Last year, we were met with rain, hail, sleet, snow, construction, lack of pavement for many miles, and a blizzard. IT WAS JUNE. Correction. It was May. Less weird, but still annoying.

This year we are taking a load of furniture and the like out to my brother's place. We aren't taking any chances this time. We decided to wrap each item in plastic for preparation. The Guy looked up the weather online. There is ZERO percent chance of rain.

Instead, it rained the entire time we wrapped up the furniture.

We're taking bets as to what town we hit before it starts to pour.

See you in 4 days!!

  1. Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the tornado that will probably scoop you up will set you down in the land of OZ.

If it does, punch the lion for me- he's annoying and his freaky mane creeps me out.
