I had heard about this from someone earlier, but promptly forgot it. I was reminded today about it and am enjoying it immensely. What is it? The greatest program invented for people who are word dorks and who want to save the world.
Go here. Play the word game. For every word you get right, you make a company donate 10 grains of rice. It is great. And very hard. Although, I know some of the words. Some from reading my trashy romance novels and one from Beauty and the Geek! I knew TV would teach me something.
I liked it. :) I can now procrastinate for charity. :D
ReplyDeletegreat timing! I have a giant test on Tuesday that involved intense vocab, and I used this to practice, woot! I donated 10,000 grains of rice and got a "wow, that's impressive!" boosts my confidence a little, yay! :) love you
