22x365: Aaron H

On my second first day of Grade 2 (new school, new city), I walked in while the class was being taught "larger" and "smaller". I was lined up as the largest of all the kids - I was well over 6" taller than the next person in line - and Aaron was at the other end. We were inseparable for 3 years after that.

He had red-blond hair and an incredible expanse of freckles. He was the smallest kid I had ever seen and yet his personality filled the room. He grinned all the time. I invited him to every birthday party I ever had. He moved away in Grade 5 and I never saw him again. Sometimes, I still look up his name to see if I can find him.

  1. I had a friend like this too. I try to look him up occasionally.

Glad I'm not the only one.
    Probably that left-brain-present-past thing. : )

  2. You left out the best important part of the story - have you ever found him?

  3. Scoober: Definitely not alone! But at least I know its not just me being a crazed stalker.

Crazy: Nope. Never found him. His name is very popular and thus no way to narrow it down.
