I just found out this week that Cruella Devil's (from 101 Dalmations) last name is actually "devil" as in evil. I shouted out my discovery to Ky and Lyn, but they already knew. One of them even remarked that "Cruella" was a play on "cruel". I evicted her immediately.
The thing is, when I was a kid, I don't think I ever saw it written. So I thought is was spelled "De Ville". Nothing evil about that.
Kids are dumb. Scratch that. I am dumb.
Ummmm. I never knew that it WASN'T spelled De Ville. Rejoice in the fact that I am dumber.
