Problems with my ears

I may need my hearing checked. Everytime I hear music, I try and figure out the words. I inevitably get it wrong. Today, while waiting for Ky to get done work, I heard a song.

Here is what I heard: "I've got the blues, a dog and me."

What the words actually are: "I've got the blues a doggin' me."
