It escapes me

I heard a song on the radio today that I really like. And I thought to myself that I would like to make a mix CD with that song on it. That song and another from Philosopher Kings ("Hurts to Love You") and other good songs with a slightly... something feel. I can't think of a way to discribe the sound. Not my normal "songs to slit your wrists to" or anything. I listened to try and find out the name of the song. Notta. So, I wrote down the one word that I could identify occured the most - making this (in my mind) the likely title. It was "rock steady". I can sing it for you, if you like. (Hint: Amanda, it doesn't go "do doo do") But I can't find it anywhere. Boo for not remembering any of the words. Well, I remember some of the words, but most the time what I sing is NOT what the words actually are - which I discover years after singing it loudly in front of people I want to impress. Anyways, I digress. (The world breathes a sigh of relief.)

  1. Was it possibly Rock Steady by Remy Shand? Cause I can never tell what he's saying either.

  6. She was at work! And so was I. It wasn't like we were in the house at the time! And I like that song... even though I don't know if Remy Shand sucks otherwise.

  7. Oh, he sucks. But he married one of the girls from Sugar Jones so I guess he's not sweating it either.

  8. Both Remy Shand and Sugar Jones suck like vacuums. Dude is a skinny white rastifarian who thinks he can sing like Smokey Robinson, and nobody but the Smokey can sing like the Smokey.

  9. Wow. I didn't realize how bitter that comment sounded. Really, my emotions about Remy Shand aren't that venomous. I over-wrote. In fact, most days, I don't even think about Remy Shand, OR Sugar Jones.
