It's Christmas Eve at 7:30pm. I'm stuffed full of food and we're lounging. It will be an early night, but it's a good night. Monty is perched at the end of our feet merrily chewing a bone. The Guy is dozing on and off while I type away happily.
This is my moment. Every one of these. When it's our makeshift little family, I know it's all going to be fine.
