This cannot be good

I have been shooting Pepto Bismal like it's whiskey and I'm a real Irishman. It is helping my stomach settle so it is not completely like riding a tilt-a-whirl in my gut. However, it's not helping entirely. I couldn't figure out why and then, I noticed the expiry date.

February 2006.

I'm sure that's just a guideline. Right?

  1. My goodness, woman. Are you turning into Grandma? Of course, the last time I had an allergy attack, all the reactin in my cupboard was 2 to 4 years expired, so I can't judge.

  2. A guideline?

Um....no. I'm thinking you might want to try something a little fresher. :-)

Sorry you're so miserable right now. I hope you're feeling better soon!

  3. Anything taken internally has to have an expiry date on it by law, whether it needs it or not. I doubt tht the effectiveness of an antacid eg TUMS would change date or no date but something like liquid Pepto-Dismal which has other stuff in it might deteriorate.

From the sounds of it, you don't have flu but rather )mild??) food poisoning. What did you eat and from whence did it come?

  4. Just keep in mind that too much Pepto Bismal means pink in at one end, but black when it comes out.
