I promised Auntie I would mention her some time on here. So, how fitting that she be first on my list?
Though technically not my "aunt", Auntie Lois has been an important part in our family history. She and my Mom were great friends despite Mom being a lot older. Mom once told me she loved being friends with Lois because no matter what a person was like, Lois could see something good in them and would point it out to you. Mom said that was a good quality to have in a friend. And it's very true. I admire Lois for being such a kind woman. And, she has a devious streak in her that makes me love her all the more.
Wow! I feel so honored to be on your blog! I love your blog so much. It makes me laugh and sometimes cry. You are so funny, sarcastic, yet sweet and vulnerable and ....complicated! I love you very much. I miss your Mom everyday and think it is so unfair that I get to read your blog and she doesn't. (Maybe she can! I hope so.)

Auntie Lois: I am so glad you finally "de-lurked"! You're such a wonderful lady and I am so glad you are in my life.
