Itchy feet

I want something new. I am unhappy with my template. I want different colours and organization and all that. I may have to look into that further.

I feel like I need to move. For most of my life, I've gotten antsy after being in a place for a long time. Ever 6 months, I tend to move my furniture around because it's like being in a new place. I feel like that here. I mean, this blog has only been up for a few months but my other one (which got shut down for fear I got fired) was up for about a year before that.

But, I have been entirely useless in creating my own template. For as much as I have learned, I am wary to put it into place and/or it's not enough to make a substantial difference. One of my co-workers lent me a program which may make it easier to create a new look, but I don't know.

Also, has everyone else noticed this jump of people moving to Blogger Beta? I'm not sure if I should be doing that or not. I would hate to do it and then regret it and not be able to come back. That would be bad.

Or, I should stop being so concerned with a freaking web page and get a life. That might work too.

  1. Hey, I don't know you (according to your last comments.. they look like they are all from your friends), but I stumbled upon your blog using that little NEXT BLOG button just for fun. You are extremely funny. I'm in NYC. I wonder how it is like to like in a place called Saskatchewan Canada. Hmmm.. any who, if you want to change your blog go to BLOGGERTEMPLATES.blogspot.com (I used it on mine ... streetblabber.blogspot.com) and I never had troubles. Keep that banner picture though .. it is the heart of the whole blog. With a hilarious life like yours, you deserve a TV show. Take Care bye.

  2. You are just the sweetest thing ever. I hope you come back often - if just to give me compliments!! I will check out that site. Thanks so much.

  3. I've heard mixed reviews of Blogger Beta. Apparently, you can't really do a lot with the html, and it eats up the changes you already made. Like your banner. (It's especially scary for people who have haloscan comments, because they all disappear.) But they have a button you can click to restore your previous everything. So I hear.

  4. I'm liking the Blogger beta for the most part. My only complaint with it right now is not being able to use a graphic for my header (and relatedly not being able to edit the HTML). They are saying though that the ability to edit the HTML will return in "days not weeks"...although ironically they've said that for about a week and a half now :P

  5. Everyone will be moved over to the new Blogger eventually. My partner did it this week, and for the most part, it's been fine. He's been able to keep his custom template and everything.

  6. Ugh, I hate the way my comments look now. Damn it.

I'm still hesitant about BETA, but I agree that likely everyone will go there eventually. I'm just not sure how, so I will wait til they force me!!
